The pedal series brings the studio method producers have been using the years to cover the whole bass distortion spectrum: from articulate high gain to punchy mild overdrive, raw and gnarly fuzz and everything in between. You now have absolute control in constructing your vision of what the perfect bass distortion texture, definition, and size should have.



The key to punchy distorted bass is allowing your mids and highs to provide the harmonic drive, while leaving your low fundamentals firm and undistorted. The  pedal achieves this by splitting your signal to two variable filters before the gain stage, so you can shape your own unique drive tone with just the right combination of boom and bite. Complete with a MID pot for perfecting your midrange character, the pedal bass preamp pedal delivers powerful, tight, defined tones with any bass. Before driving your tone, the pedal bass preamp splits your signal in two and filters each. A variable lowpass filter lets you choose how much of your signal remains clean and punchy, while a highpass filter determines how much of your tone will be sent through the drive circuit. Individual level controls for each signal path allow you to balance each to your liking.



Regardless of how many guitars, keyboards, and vocalists you’re working with, you have the ability to dial in just the right midrange character to sit well in the mix.

High-pass frequency: Controls the cutoff frequency to be distorted, ranging from 100Hz (for thicker, fuzzier saturation) or 1kHz for ultra-sharp definition.

Low-pass frequency: Controls the cutoff frequency to be mixed back to the high-pass side. Ranging from 50Hz (for only sub-bass) and 500Hz to preserve some clean mids.

Level: Sets the overall output volume of the unit.

Drive: Sets the amount of distortion for the high pass side.

Mix: Sets the blend between low-pass and high-pass signals.

Mids: Active mid control placed after the Mix control. +-12dB @ 500Hz.
